Teresa Boughey

Teresa Boughey, MA Chartered FCIPD is a National Award Winning commercially versatile Board Director and Non-Executive Director.  Her experience spans over 25 years and has been gained across FTSE 100 & FTSE 250 Companies.  She has a proven, consistent track record of working with Executive Boards and Leadership teams to deliver business improvements through and with people and to create inclusive workplace cultures. 

Teresa is a TEDx speaker and  regular media Commentator.  She has appeared on the BBC Sunday Politics show and Radio.  Her articles have featured in the Sunday Times (Raconteur) BA Business Magazine, IoD Director Magazine, People Management and HR Director.

As a UK Female Ambassador, she regularly speaks in schools and colleges on Female Leadership.  She is also a keynote speaker and influencer in areas of Diversity and inclusivity.  She has spoken at conferences including Festival of Global People, Institute of Directors (IoD) Diversity & Inclusion Roadshow, CIPD Midlands Annual conference and the National Asian Fire Service Association (AFSA) Conference.  She has appeared as a panellist at the D&I Conference (London) and has judged at the UK Business and UK Employee Experience Awards. 

Teresa is working party Advisory Board member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group(s) (APPG) for Women in Enterprise and Women and Work, influencing government on policy to address intersectional under-representation within the workplace and society.   

Teresa is also an Entrepreneur in residence at the University of Birmingham Centre for Women’s Enterprise, Leadership, Economy and Diversity.

Teresa’s achievements include leading on the acquisition of the iconic Gleneagles hotel, delivering business transformations across Europe achieving cost savings of c1.5million euros and mentoring a Group HR Director in his first 100 days, enabling him to design a people strategy that helped close the gender gap and improved employee engagement.
